Mrs. Edna Ibru (nee Park), wife of the late Chief Felix Ibru, Nigeria’s first civilian governor of Delta State, has passed away in London. The sad news was shared by her son, Dr. Paul Aidido Ibru, in a statement.
Dr. Ibru revealed that his mother passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, after a brief illness. He described her as “amazing” and expressed deep sorrow at her untimely passing, acknowledging that while they never expected her departure so soon, they had to accept God’s will for her life.
