In the statement, it was highlighted that this increase aligns with the recently enacted National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act of 2024. A formal letter detailing this approval was issued by the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission on September 25, 2024, and was signed by the Commission’s Chairman, Mr. Ekpo Nta.
