Peace Advocate Apologizes to President Tinubu’s ADC Over Misunderstood Letter

Comrade Salahudeen A. Lukman, a well-known peace advocate, has publicly apologized to Col. Nurudeen Yusuf, the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over a previous letter that was widely misinterpreted. Lukman clarified that his message was never intended to spark controversy or show any form of disrespect to Col. Yusuf.

According to Lukman, the concerns he raised in his letter were solely about the alleged misuse of Col. Yusuf’s name by certain individuals, not an attack or criticism directed at the ADC himself. He emphasized that he had no ill intentions and that the entire issue was a case of misinterpretation.

Following extensive feedback from respected elders, traditional leaders, and prominent activists, Lukman felt the need to set the record straight. He acknowledged that his words may have been misunderstood and took full responsibility for any confusion caused.

In his statement, Lukman also praised Col. Yusuf for his remarkable contributions to Ibolo land, highlighting his dedication to community growth and national service. He assured the ADC of his continued support in promoting peace and development in the region.

This public apology reflects Lukman’s commitment to fostering harmony and ensuring that no unintended conflicts arise due to miscommunication. His decision to make amends reinforces the importance of dialogue and understanding, especially in matters involving public figures and leadership.
