Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has extended his congratulations to Nigerian music sensation Tems following her recent triumph at the 67th Grammy Awards. Tems secured the award for Best African Music Performance with her hit song Love Me Jeje, outshining a star-studded list of nominees, including Yemi Alade (Tomorrow), Asake and Wizkid (MMS), Chris Brown’s Sensational featuring Davido and Lojay, and Burna Boy (Higher).
Taking to his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), on Monday, Obi not only praised Tems but also commended the entire Nigerian entertainment industry for its continued global success.
